Earlier in the week, top Impact Wrestling star Ethan Carter III bid farewell to the promotion after working their for several years. Carter was one of two names rumored to be leaving the company very soon due to Impact’s efforts to cut names commanding big contracts. It looks like that other name officially left the company the very next night. According to fans in attendance for Impact’s latest TV tapings, Bobby Lashley teased that his time in the promotion was over after losing a match to Brian Cage. Lashley is now joins Impact talents such as Rockstar Spud, EC3, and James Storm on the list of recent top Impact departures. Stay tuned for updates on Lashley and those other names mentioned above.

On the subject of Impact departures, Rockstar Spud has been in the news ever since he announced his decision to leave the promotion last year. It has been rumored for months that Spud will be joining WWE’s cruiserweight division. Spud has been backstage for recent Raw and Smackdown events, and it looks like it will only be a matter of time before he shows up on 205 Live. Now that Ethan Carter III, Spud’s former ally on Impact, is a free agent, could it be possible to see them reunite in a WWE ring? Rockstar Spud seems to think so. He recently posted a message on his Twitter account which seemingly indicated that he and Carter could be making a splash together in WWE very soon.

The list of Impact Wrestling departures have obviously been extremely high for months now. Even now, reports of Bobby Lashley and Ethan Carter III wrapping up their tenures with the company are rising. However, Impact is still continuing to sign new roster members such as Johnny Impact, Su Yung, and Brian Cage. It now appears that the promotion has announced that they have acquired another new talent. Gama Singh confirmed on his Twitter account that he has officially signed a deal to begin working with Impact. Singh has worked for numerous wrestling promotions over the years, and he promises that fans will “see the next generation of Indian wrestlers and Champions under [his] tutelage.”
