O’Riordan, who made the move Down Under in October 2015, had 12 possessions in his debut for the Swans in their two-point defeat to North Melbourne at Coffs Harbour in the JLT Community series.

The 21-year-old broke a bone in his back last August and suffered a collapsed lung while featuring for the club’s reserve side in a game against NT Thunder, a combination outfit from the Northern Territory.

But O’Riordan has made a full recovery from the injury and will be hoping to continue to impress ahead of Sydney’s season opener against Port Adelaide in the 46,000 all-seater SCG on 25 March.

O’Riordan, who is in his second year of an international rookie contract,  wore number 38 for the Swans.
