A pair of headphones led to Damontre Moore’s exit from the Giants.

Maybe his making some noise will bring him back to the NFL.

Moore, a 2013 third-round Giants pick who never became the pass-rush force they hoped, put on a nice clinic for himself Saturday, trying to show the NFL he hasn’t run out of shots.

Now a member of the San Diego Fleet in the Alliance of American Football, Moore was all over San Antonio quarterback Logan Woodside, sacking him once, hitting him six times and finishing with five tackles in San Diego’s 15-6 loss. Moore’s six QB hits are double his next-closest competition in the league, as Birmingham’s Jonathan Massaquoi tallied three in Week 1. Pro Football Focus noted the 26-year-old pressured the quarterback 32.1 percent of the time.

It’s a solid start for Moore, who’s trying to claw his way back to a league he busted out of. He racked up 5.5 sacks for the Giants in 2014, but was released the next year after a fight with Cullen Jenkins over a pair of free Beats By Dre headphones.

He then made his way around the NFL, with brief stops with the Dolphins, Seahawks, Cowboys and Raiders. He played three games with Dallas in 2017 but was cut shortly after video surfaced of Moore’s involvement in a Texas street brawl. He played in a pair of games with the Raiders last season.
