Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are going to become first-time parents any day now. While the world awaits the newest member of the royal family, Meghan and Harry are preparing for the birth of their first child. The residents of Windsor are on the edge of their seats, but things seem to be pretty calm at Frogmore Cottage for Meghan.
Per Entertainment Tonight, Meghan has been enjoying a “love-filled time” while she awaits the birth of the baby, and a source told E.T. that she has been receiving “so much compassion from her new family.”
Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, arrived England in late April, signaling that the baby’s birth was imminent. She’s been by her daughter’s side since, and E.T. reports she’s been helping the couple settle into Frogmore Cottage, where they also moved this spring.
Though the arrival of baby Sussex is just around the corner, Harry’s royal schedule hasn’t come to a complete halt. the duke was set to travel to the Netherlands last week, but as The Daily Mail noted, he has since cut the trip down to a one-day, out-and-back venture. While there, he will launch the countdown to the Invictus Games The Hague 2020.
A source told E.T. that Harry “will cancel the trip at the last minute if necessary.” The 2020 Invictus Games are important, sure, but the birth of your first child is pretty up there on the priorities list, too.
Meanwhile, Meghan has been able to enjoy consistent visits from friends, and she and Harry are luxuriating in the freedom of life inside their private Windsor bubble.
A source adds to E.T. that “being able to walk freely and enjoy the beautiful area is such a sensational treat” for the parents-to-be.
