Jamal Adams said he wants to give his input to the Jets hierarchy about the franchise’s direction moving forward.

That started with the Pro Bowl safety’s exit meeting Monday and continued Tuesday with an endorsement for the Jets’ next head coach.

Former Texas Tech coach and current USC offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury will be interviewed by the Jets and Cardinals for their vacancies, according to reports. Yahoo was the first to report the interviews. Adams began following the 39-year-old coach on Instagram on Tuesday.

SNY’s Twitter account mentioned the follow in a tweet that read, “Looks like Jamal Adams might have a top choice for the next head coach of the Jets (eyes emoji). That tweet prompted a response from Adams. He wrote back in a retweet, “U damn right!”

Kingsbury coached the Browns’ Baker Mayfield and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech. He also has a connection to the Jets. He threw his two NFL passes with them in 2005. One was a 17-yard completion to Dante Ridgeway and the other fell incomplete.
