Jim Harbaugh has denied he will leave Michigan after this season. The Jets insist they are not interested in Jim Harbaugh.

Those are some hurdles to the Jets landing Jim Harbaugh.

“Todd Bowles is our Head Coach,” Jets CEO Christopher Johnson said in a statement Monday morning. “There is no truth to the report of our interest in Jim Harbaugh.”

Pro Football Talk reported Sunday night the Jets, who are expected to fire Bowles once this season concludes, were hot after the Michigan coach and willing to outdo the $7 million per year he earns with the Wolverines.

Harbaugh had a regularly scheduled news conference set for Monday afternoon, when he could address the rumors.
