After he was spotted in the crowd during NXT Takeover: Chicago earlier this year, it was confirmed that independent wrestling standout Keith Lee had signed a contract with WWE and would be reporting to the Performance Center to compete on the NXT roster. Lee arrived to the facility in Orlando, Florida last month but fans are still waiting to see Lee compete in his first match as an NXT Superstar. Fortunately for those fans, they will not have to wait too much longer. It was announced on last night’s episode of NXT that Keith Lee will be making his official in-ring debut during next week’s NXT show. The Full Sail University crowd and NXT fans will be able to bask in Lee’s glory in just six short days.

During last week’s episode of NXT, Tommaso Ciampa challenged Aleister Black for the NXT Championship. The match ended with Ciampa getting a shocking win over Black, thus making him the fourteen man in history to win the NXT Championship. Ciampa’s title win has now been made even more official as he has just received his very own set of custom plates for the sides of the belt. WWE uploaded a video of Ciampa receiving the side plates onto their YouTube channel for fans to see. The controversial NXT Superstar will now be going to the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn show as the NXT Champion later on this month, but there is still no confirmation on his opponent for the event as of right now.

Former WWE Superstar John Morrison has been entertaining fans all over the world over the last few years in promotions such as AAA and Lucha Underground, but he has also been making a name for himself as Johnny Impact in Impact Wrestling for about one year now. Although Johnny Impact has been moving on up in the promotion lately, it appears now that the wrestler may have to take some time off in order to nurse an injury that he recently received. Johnny Impact alerted his fans on Instagram that he is in the hospital recovering from a dislocated elbow that he got while he was taking part in a training photo shoot. There is currently no word on how long Johnny will be out of action for.
