Roberto Santilli’s team won the final tournament of Polish Cup in Bydgoszcz. In the finals Jastrzebski Wegiel beat rivals from Rzeszow 3:2.

 

 

Resovia Rzeszow – Delecta Bydgoszcz 3:1 (25:20, 25:23, 14:25, 25:20)
On semi final day, the host of Polish Cup had no chances to win with great playing Resovia Rzeszow. Although they strongly beat Rzeszow in on set, vice champion of PlusLiga was absolutely a favourite of this meeting.

Jastrzebski Wegiel – Zaksa Kedzierzyn Kozle 3:0 (21:25, 27:29, 18:25)
Expectations about the second match was totally different. Nobody could say, who was gonna win. We were sure that this game is going to extremely hard. It was not after all… Jastrzebie gave a fantastic show. Their blocks were everywhere and everytime. Kedzierzyn couldn’t take it and they lost a possibility to fight with Resovia.

Jastrzebski Wegiel – Resovia Rzeszow 3:2 (25:22, 21:25, 25:23, 22:25, 15:13)

The last match was a goud finish of this tournament. Great disposition of both spikers, hard fight, ambicion and the trofeum – those elements was strong in both of final participants. Finally, Jastrzebie won the tie break. It also means, they have their place in the next edition of Champions League.
