Jack Gruden, son of Redskins coach Jay Gruden and a video assistant for the team, was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning and charged with being drunk in public.
The 22-year-old was reportedly involved in multiple confrontations in Ashburn, Virginia, not far from where safety Montae Nicholson was arrested in December. According to the police report, a deputy had to break up a clash between Gruden and another man, and Gruden was then involved in several more incidents.
“We are aware of the arrest of Jack Gruden,” the Redskins said in a statement. “We are gathering more information and will not comment until we have further details.”
The younger Gruden has a hearing scheduled for March 21, according to ESPN.
