The Antonio Brown drama did not end when the regular season did.
The star Steelers wide receiver was accused of misconduct by a woman during a January domestic dispute, TMZ Sports reported Tuesday. Brown was not arrested, the Hollywood (Fla.) Police Department said, though the department did investigate the allegation.
“Mr. Brown was involved in a domestic dispute. No arrests were made,” police said in a statement to TMZ.
The 30-year-old was born in Miami and spends much of his offseason in Florida. The specifics surrounding the woman’s misconduct claim are unknown.
Brown missed Pittsburgh’s must-win season finale after reportedly fighting with Ben Roethlisberger during a practice then proceeding to skip team meetings and practices. He showed up for the Dec. 30 game against Cincinnati but was informed he would not be playing. He then left at halftime.
In the aftermath, Steelers owner Art Rooney II said it would be “hard to envision” the seven-time Pro Bowler back with the team next season.
