WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin announced on his latest “Steve Austin Show: Unleashed” podcast (listen here) that the CMT cable channel has given the green light for a new reality competition series.

While speaking to his interview guest Taz, Austin said that the “Steve Austin Broken Skull Ranch Challenge” will be a “bust ass show” for regular and hardcore athletes to prove in front of the world that they’re tough. Austin did not specify if the athletes will be training pro wrestling, like tough enough, or if the show will be similar to The Rock’s TNT show “The Hero.”

Austin also said that he plans to take the Steve Austin Show on the road in 2014, once he finishes up with a few outstanding commitments.  He also said that he wants to do a fourth season of Redneck Island, but CMT has not yet signed on for it.
