Two more women have officially qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match. Lana may not have a ton of success in her wrestling career, but luck was on her side during her qualifying match against Billie Kay on Smackdown last night. With Aiden English by her side, Lana managed to pick up a rare win by defeating Kay. As a result of her win, Lana will now be participating in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match while her husband Rusev will be fighting in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Lana has promised that Rusev Day will prevail during both ladder matches at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The event will be taking place in Chicago, Illinois on June 17th.

Another match took place to determine an entrant in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match during Smackdown last night. Sonya Deville faced off against Naomi with the final Smackdown spot in the match on the line. Unfortunately for Deville, she was not able to score a win in this match, thus allowing Naomi to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match for the first time in her career. Naomi won the first-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 earlier this year, and she has been Smackdown Women’s Champion before, so perhaps she can get another victory in this match. The members of the Raw Women’s division who failed to qualify for the match will face each other in a gauntlet match next week to determine the final entrant in the women’s Money in the Bank match this year.

Ever since Harper and Rowan reemerged in WWE as The Bludgeon Brothers, the two of them have been absolutely dominant. Harper and Rowan won the Smackdown Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 34 and have managed to successfully defend the titles while running through every tag team on Smackdown at the same time. The duo will be putting their titles on the line once again at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view against a team that they have not defended their titles against before. On last night’s edition of Smackdown, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows defeated The Usos to earn the right to challenge Harper and Rowan for the tag team titles at Money in the Bank next month.
