After last night’s episode of RAW went off the air from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, the dark main event air saw the team of John Cena & Roman Reigns defeat RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar but The Bar retained. There was said to be a lot of comedy and mic work during the match.
On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, one of the discussions that took place was who would be Ronda Rousey’s partner at WrestleMania in what appears to be a mixed tag team match against HHH & Stephanie McMahon.
It was previously reported that Kurt Angle looks to be the leading candidate based on the developments at Elimination Chamber, but it’s a no brainer that WWE would love to have The Rock fill that role and ultimately he is their #1 choice. Angle is also considered the best bet for a backup. Dave Meltzer suggested that there could be a dark-horse candidate to be Rousey’s partner at WrestleMania and it is none other that Rousey’s husband Travis Browne, who has also been training at the WWE Performance Center for many months.
