It’s been a busy month for the royal family. With the birth of baby Archie , Meghan and Harry’s upcoming first wedding anniversary, the spotlight has been shining bright on Windsor and Frogmore Cottage. But another royal, Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth’s cousin Prince Michael of Kent, had a pretty big day on Saturday when she got married at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Missing from the ceremony today: Meghan Markle, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
As Hello noted, George, Charlotte, and Louis were not part of the wedding, so Kate Middleton didn’t need to wrangle the tots, as she has as recently as Princess Eugenie’s wedding. William is also getting ready to attend the soccer FA final cup, which the Telegraph reports, could be renamed the “Heads Up FA Cup Final” as part of a mental health campaign that William is spearheading. Hello added that Prince William had to miss the soccer event last year for his brother’s wedding, so he needs to make a point to attend this year.
Harry, however, was at the wedding. For Harry, this meant returning to his exact wedding venue the day before his first wedding anniversary. Now, Harry doesn’t have to make much of a commute to the chapel; it’s walking distance from his home at Frogmore Cottage. Meghan was no doubt busy after this whirlwind of a month and her mother, Doria, still visiting.
Harry was seen walking outside the chapel with Sophie Winkleman, Prince Michael of Kent’s daughter-in-law.
Though Kate was not at the wedding, her sister, Pippa Middleton, her parents Carole and Michael Middleton, and her brother, James Middleton were all in attendance.
Per Hello, Lady Gabriella, who married Thomas Kingston, wore a Luisa Beccaria dress.
